Our analysis methodology
BTTSPredict publishes BTTS and Over 2.5 football predictions generated by a statistical model. This page explains the approach, covered markets, data sources and quality controls without profit promises.
1. Statistical approach
The model analyses matches using scored and conceded goals, xG, lambda parameters and the Poisson model when available. It then estimates BTTS and Over 2.5 probabilities for each match.
2. Data sources
ESPN
A free public source for match schedules, final scores and team logos.
TheSportsDB
A free public source used as a complement to verify final scores not covered by the main source.

3. Covered markets
BTTS
Both teams score at least one goal during the match.
Over 2.5
The match total is at least three goals.
The model does not cover exact score, double chance, Asian handicap or player-scorer markets.
4. Quality and transparency
Publication criteria are checked automatically, the number of predictions is limited, a dated archive is preserved and results are checked after matches. Missing data is not invented and predictions are never changed retroactively.
